I'm real happy about this "post-care totem pole" as Rhea has been calling it. I don't have a picture of the finished product yet but here are some pics I took during the process of making it...

ONE TRICK PONY T-SHIRT DESIGN

made this new t-shirt design for One Trick Pony, whose upcoming album "Try Not To Worry About It So Much" sounds really awesome! I made the design inspired by the songs on that album and a bit of Bergman's "The Seventh Seal" which is on of my ultimate favorite movies. I also noticed afterwards that it had that kind of A Clockwork Orange vibe going on due to the shape of the image.

Watch out for their album coming out on the 19th of July!

Discoral USA Cover

this is the cover for a new mini comix zine that i am putting out on limited copies of 100.
its called Discoral USA which is based on those local sound systems that they had in the rural parts of the Philippines where i grew up. These sound systems would set up in basketball courts or open fields and would blast trancey dance music all night long that everyone can dance to.

BODY PAINTING PICS

Here are pictures of the Yilin Wang, the model that was paired with me for the body painting event and opening art show that they had at Le Spec Gallery. I was kind of hesitant and nervous doing this coz i wasn't sure what she was like but after I met her i discovered that she was really cool and a sport about it all. A real professional to work with. So, everything went smoothly. I would have loved to paint all of her body but since we we only had around 2 hours to do this, I just did what i could. I sold some of the small pieces that I had up at this show and was truly happy about it. It was a great fun show to be a part of especially with all the cool and awesome artists that I got to do it with. Fresh and Easy Design Submission

on Rhea's suggestion, i have submitted a design for the new Fresh and Easy bag for the hope of no having to buy any groceries for the rest of the year. SO, if Luck is good to me this year, perhaps you'll see my design the next time you buy groceries in your neighborhood Fresh and Easy. Here is what it looks like...
