Swallowed By The Ground.
This is part of a children's book project that got aborted. Rhea decided to make cards of it though and printed it out with the Gocco machine from her work. So, it wasn't that useless after all.
The Land Of My Birth As A Woman
Somehow, i always think of my birthplace as a woman whose beautiful mountains and fields i use to gaze into with such delight knowing that there are parts of her i can never truly know and discover even if i stayed with her my whole lifetime...A woman who exists in the remembrance of the hearts of those whose lives are forever touched by knowing such beauty and joy.

It didn't occur to me at the moment I did but this illustration that i did five years ago was subconsciously influenced by Munch. I think!

Extra Golden for LA RECORD
Here's a quickie one i did for the new issue of LA RECORD. I originally did Tinariwen but they said they are still figuring out the translation of the interview from French to English. So they asked me if i wanted to work on something else instead. And this is what I choose. OK Oyot System! Yay!
